If you’re wanting to get the core Resident Evil experience you should play in this order: Resident Evil Remake (PC) Resident Evil 2 (GCN Version on Dolphin with HD Pack) The 4th Survivor.
Just clarifying that if I decide to play Remake 2 first I’m never going to play the original. So its either RE2 then remake 2 or Remake 2 then nothing. Like I played Remake and never the first resident evil game and felt completely satisfied, but I’m just asking about RE 2 because if the lack of fixed camera.
Should I play all the scenarios in Resident Evil 2? I just started RE2 for my first time with Claire. I think this scenario is Claire A, and when I finish I don't feel like playing the exact same game three more times.
You can start with REmake if you want, but I started with the original first, and that made it easier for me to go on and play the next few games (2, 3, and Code Veronica). It also made it so that I was able to enjoy REmake after, in a way where I was able to see firsthand all of the interesting ways that REmake changes up things from the original game.
In the original game, each of the four scenarios was unique. In this game, the story is the same for both characters regardless, you only need to play through twice to get the whole story, just make sure your second playthrough is the unlocked '2nd' scenario.
NOPE! Just jump right in! The remake follows the plot and story of the original while adding in more intense gameplay and graphics. Why wait?
Leon then Claire is more chronological and cannon. The first scenario is longer than the second so if you are like me and Claire is your babe and you want to spend more time with her, play her.
Resident Evil 2 made some changes to the original game’s story, but the it didn’t really add an awful lot of significant stuff (especially compared to what the first remake did with Lisa Trevor).
